  • Meet Dr. Zollner:

Hello! I’m excited that you are considering working with me. Finding a therapist that is the right fit for you can be a challenge. My goal is for my clients to feel comfortable and safe in their work with me. I strive to create a space of non-judgemental understanding and exploration. In order to address a problem, it helps to understand and define it. Therapy can be challenging and intimidating, but my hope is that you will find your strengths and gain understanding on your journey to growth and change.

I enjoy working with teens and adults as they navigate challenges related to being neurodiverse, who have experienced infidelity or betrayal truama in a relaitonship, or who are struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors. For several years, I have worked with many individuals experiencing social difficulties, social anxiety, and relationship distress. In particular, I enjoy working with individuals who have not been diagnosed but suspect they are neurodiverse in some way. I also support partners in neurodiverse couples exploring issues related to their sexuality, intimacy, and communication.

If you struggle to feel understood or become lost and frustrated when trying to understand others, we can work together to find new ways of understanding and communicating. Sometimes it may seem like you are struggling to express yourself or perhaps you have been told you lack empathy, even though you know you have an intense internal emotional experience. Or, maybe you struggle to identify what you are feeling and use unhelpful behaviors to cope and need help identifying your internal experience so that you can better share it with others.

We all have areas in our life that are more challenging than others. Sometimes we arrive at this place because of the environment we grew up in or because we have experienced events in our lives that changed us. When we feel disconnected or out of control, we can lose perspective and it may seem like we are trapped with no clear path forward. My hope is that our work together will help to illuminate your path forward toward healing and growth. If that sounds like a journey you are ready for, reach out and let’s start our work together!
